German bobsleigh athletes set sights on Winter Olympics in the hot Mallorca sunshine
Mallorca is famous as a training base for international cyclists, swimmers, track athletes, golfers, padel and tennis players but now it has caught the eyes of winter sports professionals. “We’ll be doing a lot of running, swimming and extremely physical exercise and while we could have done this in Germany, the fact that the weather is better and much warmer means that the risk of injury is minimal.”
